FWOTW: Ezekiel3.com

Are you fed up with empty-headed, high-minded preachers who think nothing of correcting the AV1611 King James Bible with their mysterious special knowledge of Greek and Hebrew? Well, are you??

Then you’ll feel right at home at ezekiel3.com, a website “shining the light of the AV1611 King James Bible on false doctrine, false teachers, and last days apostasy.”

    1. Where you have editorial control and can (and will) edit comments? No thanks.

      P.S. You’re a coward.

      1. Bingo. You have been proven to be untrustworthy because you have altered comments. If you really are an honest individual who just did something utterly stupid and not another religious huckster, stick around.

  1. Is this blog a closet gay society? I usually only hear this type of nonsense at Sodomite Parades when we are rebuking the perverts and child molesters. I noticed there were far more comments during the week when the trailer parks must have had a curfew. May I assume the curfew has been lifted for the weekend since that my blog activity coming from fundies slowed down Friday night? You sick perverts need to read Romans 1 to find out the reason you spue this ugodly nonsense. Bro. Ray

    1. “Do not worry if you cannot answer a man’s argument. You can always call him names.”

      1. Beautiful response. Why do so many fundie jump right to the “rebuking” or name calling tactic. Clearly Jesus called us to insult and condemn one another ensuring that we appear as judgmental as possible. Thats what my Bible says at least (is my sarcasm coming through clearly enough?). Forgive me for my sinful attitude and sarcastic remarks but fundies drive me crazy.

    2. Ray–
I have gay friends and relatives who aren’t child molesters, and can show you a number of KJV preachers who are.

I have been studying for my Sunday School lesson tomorrow. We are going through Christ’s teaching from Matthew 5-7. It would behoove you to read and study that passage.

I have read Romans 1. Many times. I find no commands in it to insult the lost or cause offense by name-calling. I find a warning about changing the Truth of God into worship of other than Him, which leads to improper actions and attitudes. I believe that could also include your worship of the KJV over Him. You have also set yourself up as God’s lawgiver, without using any Scripture to back up your points. The small amount of Bible you do use is edited in a way that it could mean anything. Try the whole counsel of Scripture, not a pick and choose method of editing to make a point that God never made.

BE NOT DECEIVED, you say. You have deceived yourself. Your God is not Jesus Christ. Your god is Ray McIntire. Jesus taught Luk_6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. KJV
How is that evidenced in your life?

    3. well i can’t speak for anyone else, but there’s nothing closeted about me. i’m gay enough for the both of us, brother ray! xoxo

    4. I don’t know, a fixation on another adult’s sexual behaviour seems to be rather perverted to me.

    5. Oh great, Just another insult-slinging Fundamentalist. Quit trotting out the gay insult when dealing with something you don’t understand.

BTW, you point the fingers at the gays as child molesters, yet the gay people I (and many of us here) know have been at the forefront of preventing child molestation and have been trying to help victims expose their abusers and bring them to justice. The Fundamentalists I know, OTOH, have been very vocal about trying to silence and shame victims while protecting their rapists. The truth is that Fundamentalists really don’t care about child abuse victims, don’t love them, don’t really want to see them healed and coming to the Lord. They’re usable, kind of a “not really a sin, just keep it quiet” thing. They love their rapists and abusers, though. The adult abusers are the tithers, you know. They bring in the money and the victims do not. Throw away the children, for their souls do not matter. Keep the perverts and let them have free run of the church. Their souls really don’t matter either, but their $$$ sure does.

And you have the nerve to complain about the gays who at least keep their relationships legally consensual?

(And before you ask… straight, married, both Christians.)

    6. I’ll cop to being a pervert, but I am straight as an arrow. Hate to disappoint.

    7. Given the choice between hooking up with someone like Bro. Ray or a chick, I’d definitely switch teams. 😈

    8. Wow! Poe? If this is satire, it is so close to being authentic that I can’t tell!

Well, “Brother Ray,” it doesn’t sound like you are a brother to much of anyone. You certainly don’t love us as Christ loved us. Jesus ate and drank with sinners, you know. Never a harsh word to the broken, but only to the religious leaders — of which you may be one!

We have some gay people here. I am heterosexual and monogamous, having been married to my one and only for over 31 years.

You sound a bit like Billy James Hargis. He, too, condemned sex, gayness, and whatever. He preached Jesus and anticommunism. He railed against the evils of sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Until he was discovered having orgies (including gay sex, too!) with several of his students at his Bible College.

Have you read the Scripture, that you who are spiritual should rebuke in the spirit of meekness lest you also be tempted? Such arrogance as yours recalls the Scripture that Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

So, glad to have you. Your first post is a fine example of the characteristically fundamentalist bad attitude. Sit and chat a while. Find out who we are and why we say what we say. Unless, of course, you are a recent disapproving visitor come back in a snit fit suit. We are a genuinely friendly group.

  2. Confession time. I once “street preached” with a group of guys in the Heart of Iniquity itself, namely the Five Points South district of Birmingham, AL. We set up on a public bench where our “street preacher” stood as we sang hymns and he began to share the Gospel.

Unfortunately, this was early on a Thursday night when nobody was out. We attracted the attention of some homeless guys who hit us up for money, but little else. After about fifteen minutes, we got bored, swung by for a quick Starbucks, and bounced.

We felt really spiritual about it, though.

  3. Darrell: To get answers read my blog for my answers to the arguments you are curious about.
Jordan P.: I’m not surprised and you should get some “hits” now.
UncleWilver: Give your friends a little more time. Uh huh.
Big Gary: Did I hit a nerve or what. Going to the trailer park to visit friends and relatives this weekend or what. Oh I see, they’re the next mobile home over!
Arch Radish: You backslid before you got started. Read my post THE PLOW to see how it’s done.
Rebuke ya more later, Bro. Ray

    1. I never want to learn how it is done, Ray. The fundamentalist brand of street preaching tastes like dirt in my mouth these days. I’m ashamed I was ever a part of it at all, and would take it back knowing what I do now. I no longer associate with those who believe like you do, and your behavior on this blog gives me no reason to change my mind.

    2. Ray–
Do you mean the gay friends or the preachers?

I notice you refused to address proper use of scripture I called you out on.

I have read “answers” to questions on your blog. You not only fail to address the questions asked, but ramble around with poor or no actual scholarship. It is just your own opinions with no facts, scientific or Scriptural, to back them up.

I believe I’ll be shaking the dust from my shoes and walking away from you, since this isn’t a real conversation but childish name-calling on your part.

    3. As I said already on another thread, I have nothing but pity for you, “Bro.. Ray.” If you truly believe what you say you do, if you are as full as hatred as you seem to be…I am sorry. May God have mercy on your soul.

      1. Concur this level of willful disconnectedness from reality brings his mental & emotional health into question, and I don’t think I can enable his acting out by taking him seriously.

    1. I was a skeptic regarding your claims here, Ray, until you called everyone gay and said they lived in mobile homes. Then I truly saw the logic and sensibility of your position and the futility of my own. Your way of debating is highly compelling. I’m sure everyone else will come around once they sit back and contemplate the intricacy of your logic.

I recently went street preaching, but was soon interrupted by the attack of a bizarre sports mascot dressed in a squirrel costume, who attempted to force me to listen to rap and hip hop music. I attempted your debate technique and it stopped him dead in his tracks and sent him whimpering home, probably to a mobile home. I am encouraged by this victory and plan to next preach on a street that actually has people walking down it.

      1. Yeah, the whole gay thing and street preachers thing… pretty nuts.

Well, thanks, though, Mr. Ray (I can’t call you Brother since you probably will pray for me to go to Hell after I say this), for exposing yet another truth about Fundamentalism. See, there are these bus ministries in IFB churches that go into the trailer park neighborhoods. Those of us not in the bus ministries were told that souls were being brought to the Lord. In reality, Fundamentalists don’t care about those souls, either. They’re just numbers for the church (and I notice many of these people… er, numbers… never are welcome enough to become actual members). If they were really souls loved by the Lord and in need of Christ’s redemption, the others in the Fundamentalist churches wouldn’t talk down about these people. But yet, look at you. You clearly don’t love the people who live there. You use their living situation as an insult, a term of derision. SHAME ON YOU! How dare you claim to represent Christ, yet turn around and so cruelly dismiss some of those He desires as His own for their living conditions? Christ himself had no place to lay His head while He was here. I guess you would have hated him too, for He was even worse off than the trailer park crowd!

  4. I’m wondering if this is another case where a preacher’s fixation is his own not so secret temptation.

    1. As Shakespeare wrote, “The lady doth protest too much, methinks” or in this case, “Bro. Ray doth protest too much, methinks.” 🙂

    1. So nice to know you think you’re so cute and funny, Ray. In reality, you are only showing yourself to be a poor testimony and the anithesis of Christ’s love to a lost and dying world. You are not a credible minister, you don’t show true love or concern for the lost, you demean souls who are less well-off than yourself… everything a God-loving, soul-loving Christian should be ashamed of, and yet… you have no shame at all.

    1. Ray, I was just beginning to think you were a solid, KJV-only Bible-believer. Now I see that you are in fact, a postmodernist who distrusts the value of words as communicative devices. Your near-exclusive use of smileys in the communication of this thread betrays a theology fixated on iconography and symbolism, not unlike the Roman Catholic church or Eastern Orthodox. I’m disappointed, Ray, and this theological blunder on your part leaves me reconsidering whether rock music is indeed bad, or whether street preaching is actually worth it when one might be attacked by a man dressed as a squirrel.

  8. A magnificent display of third grade retort.
There can be only one response to such a crushing emoticon storm of rebuke…

    🙄

    1. “Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.” Proverbs 14:7 – KJV

And, that includes web sites and comment replies. Flee from the foolish wherever you find them,…”If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.” Proverbs 29:9 – KJV

  9. I was, perhaps, a bit too frank with my response to one of Rays blog posts.

“You are an uneducated, unbelieving stain on the American churches backside. Thanks for making the disciples of Christ look like morons.”

    1. @Charles,

Not too frank at all. Sometimes Proverbs 26:6 must be heeded…”Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.” KJV(quoting on purpose)

  10. Bro. Ray M, I remind you that even with your superior knowledge that you must answer all and conduct with charity: “Though I speake with the tongues of men & of Angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brasse or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophesie, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge: and though I have all faith, so that I could remoove mountaines, and have no charitie, I am nothing. And though I bestowe all my goods to feede the poore, and though I give my body to bee burned, and have not charitie, it profiteth me nothing.”–AV1611 (Paul, if that matters)

      1. Thanks! I actually just switched my website from the Etsy to the WordPress bc that has more samples. It’s an awesome creative outlet for sure. Mailleartisans.org has A LOT of info if it’s the kind of thing you like.

  11. Maybe we’re onto the next big thing, like Sparkly Vampires, Buff Zombies and the Amish Mafia, Gay Trailer Parks will be the subject of innumerable books and reality shows? 😎

    1. A reality-tv series about gay trailer parks? I’d watch it. Can’t be worse than Gold Rush. 😕

      1. If all the trailers had fabulous pink flamingos and brilliantly loud gardens, I’d be in.

    2. There is at least one nudist mobile home park in my county.
I’ve never visited it, but one of my lawyer friends had a client there.
That’s a story I’ll have to tell some time (with all the names changed).

      1. Yeah, BG, weren’t you paying attention? It’s gay trailer parks we’re interested in, here.

Although the two are probably synonymous to our dear Bro. Ray. 😉 I wonder if he likes to hunt for bears?

  12. Be careful of the company you keep Ray. You spend an awful lot of time accusing.

    Revelation 12:10

“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.”
