    1. If you’re a Ron Paul supporter, I’m sure it sounds perfectly sane. 😉

  1. Sorry Darrell, this post did miss the mark on a couple of points. Not only do I agree with what Chuck Baldwin says, but also most IFBers I know are Republican Bushites and wouldn’t vote for him or Ron Paul.

  2. I lived in Chuck Baldwin’s home town. They don’t come much more Independent and Fundamental than he is.

Like I’ve said a few times, there is some wide diversity within fundamentalism. Not every post will hit every single sect with equal force.

  3. Any person who uses his/her God given intellect, no matter what his/her “fundie” status, will or have come to the same conclusion. Our country is on the wrong track. I agree that people have got to get out of this mindset that we have to choose the lesser of two evils. What we need to do is vote for the man who is biblically fit for the job.

“Is there no virtue among us? If there be not, we are in a wretched situation. No theoretical checks-no form of government can render us secure. To suppose that any form of government will secure liberty or happiness without any virtue in the people, is a chimerical idea, if there be sufficient virtue and intelligence in the community, it will be exercised in the selection of these men. So that we do not depend on their virtue, or put confidence in our rulers, but in the people who are to choose them.” -James Madison

  4. I do like the politics of some fundies…in fact I think think that Ron Paul would have been the best of the final 3. He can’t give a speech to save his life but I abree with him on most of the issues.

  5. If only we could regain the Enlightenment “fundamental princibles” of our founding fathers. ‘Cause we all know that the Enlightenment is straight out of the book of Job *cough*
