I don’t know much about Ron Hamilton’s personal life, but I was in sorrow to read that his oldest son, Jonathan, who played “Pee Wee Pirate”, died yesterday; he apparently fell from a parking car garage, and police are considering it suicide, which is doubly sad for the family.

We have some of the Patch the Pirate CDs (the earlier ones), and our kids enjoyed them, but we never became full-blow Patch the Pirate fans.

But I’m sure that this is a hard time for their family. Losing any child is hard, and losing one in this way is even harder.
