RE: How Were You Educated (K-12)???
Public School all the way. Around age 23, in the fundy church, I thought all my problems were because of my Public schooling and my wicked education.

RE: How Were You Educated (K-12)???
I went to public elementary school until 6th grade, when I moved to my small fundy church's new tiny school (approx. 16 people including teachers). Halfway through the year, that church and school shut down and we went back to the big fundy church that we originally split from (the small church was the result of a church split at the big church). I went to their large Christian school from the rest of 6th through 12th grade.

What's ironical in my prev. IFBx church is that one of the deacons is a state education department board member - but ironically he homeschools his kids, and many of the members are public school teachers still. Weird, eh? An outstanding project in progress, by the Grace of God. |

Homeschooled all 12 years. Not fond of the experience, although it wouldn't have been so bad if we'd had some socialization. I'm currently attending a community college and loving the whole "public school" experience!

RE: How Were You Educated (K-12)???
I was sent to a Lutheran school from kindergarten through first grade. My parents were Baptists (fortunately not severely fundamentalist), but they didn't care for the public school in the area, and there wasn't much "controversial" Lutheran doctrine in the K and first grade curriculum.
![]() From second through twelfth grade, I was home schooled. This worked out fairly well for me, since my mother had her degree in education and experience in teaching in elementary school. Academically, I did fine, but the lack of socialization has left me, in my estimation, somewhat socially awkward to this day. Attending a secular university helped reduce that awkwardness, but I still suffer from social uneasiness in large groups or around people I don't know. |
