You struggle over whether or not to take a secular online course from a religious school because...well, they believe differently...
Separation still dogs me. |

Every single line does not need to reflect the idiosyncracies of fundyland. Sorry - I don't have enough time to read the way it is. A book about fundies isn't going to make my reading stack. I'm a writer, and I hope you'll hear what I have to say: It's hard to judge your own work. When a reader gives you feedback, take it seriously. Even if it is painful, offensive, or hurtful, listen to it. Ponder it. Sleep on it. Mull it over. More often than not, the reader is right. You are too close to your "baby," and you are almost always going to feel like it's perfect just as it is. Other people will see its flaws and misbehaviors. Let their criticism help you reshape and rework it into true perfection. Best of luck to you in your endeavors! |

If your family has been stalking you for three years until you have to change your number and block all of them on your social media and they still contact you on linkedin to tell you how many people you need to apologize to before they'll let you back in the family. That's how you know you used to be fundy...

It was a kind thing to do, especially so quickly after I mentioned it bothered me. I will not make any derogatory comments about anyone's genitalia here, ever.
