Jason Janz confesses to abuse

Many of you probably know this already as it has been posted on Facebook for a few hours, but for those of you who haven't heard: Today Jason Janz, Jocelyn Zichterman's abuser and biological brother, confessed to the church that he pastors that he did indeed molest her. That's all I know at the moment, but I'm sure more details will be available in the next few days.

Yup, it's like he just earned a merit badge of sorts. Let's see: he will check himself into some rehab program and those members of his apologetic chorus will start wailing that it was "so long ago" and then proceed to start comparing everything he has done deemed noteworthy compared to this.

I think this causes a problem for the IBF defenders. If she was telling the truth...what does that say about all the other reports from other survivors? Were they all lying?

I'd be very surprised if he stays in pastoral ministry, and if he does, he will be rebuked by the Sharper Iron crowd.
