RE: Jason Janz confesses to abuse
It's not just the admission of abuse...they have said she's been lying for YEARS...about everything!! Medical fraud, abuse, molestation..it goes on! So, then THEY have not only covered up the abuse but now confessed they've lied to EVERYONE about it all!! Wow!! This is amazing for her!! So glad she is finally validated!!!

I just hope they used "California Dreaming" as the soundtrack for the confession.

Jason has also sent a message to his other sister, Melissa Fletcher. This is huge. I imagine the father is crapping bricks at this very moment... .

RE: Jason Janz confesses to abuse
He still needs to be out of church office, at least until his repentance has been validated by his life, and he has lived down the shame of his wrongdoing. This is a great first step, but repentance is more than just words, even though it begins with words.

RE: Jason Janz confesses to abuse
I'm still in a fundy church and all I've been hearing the last few days is "I doubt a pastor would lie" and "how awful that those ladies twisted the truth to put fundamentalists in a bad light." I'm so glad one of those fundy pastors and abusers finally had the guts to confess.

Or perhaps they are still consulting with the higher ups to make sure everyone is singing the same (traditional hymn) tune. They have become all about providing nuggets of gossip while eliminating any open discussion of such things. "just the facts ma'am" and now, Sharper Iron's chickens...have come home to roost! It will be interesting to see if they try to distance themselves from their founder... "Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side" |

That's all I know at the moment, but I'm sure more details will be available in the next few days. Well, everyone knows she is bitter... and that excuses any felonies perpetrated against her.

RE: Jason Janz confesses to abuse
I will probably be telling you all something you already know but....
Many have been saying they 'see' no discussions about 20/20 or Jantz on various fundamentalist sites. It is possible for administrators to make certain parts of a forum board 'private' so that that only registered members can see them. Normally this function is used so administrators and moderators can talk openly among themselves but I have been on boards where this was expanded to keep certain conversations from public view. I don't know if that is what is happening now or not. It is of course also possible that they could be communicating via pm and email. O Beauty ever ancient, O Beauty ever new; you, the mirror of my life renewed, let me find my life in you.~St. Augustine |
