RE: Yet Another PCC Pastor Leaves
PCC peaked around '01. The firing / forced resignation of Greg Mutsch marked the beginning of the decline. Seems that the president-in-waiting and chaplaincy have fallen upon one man: Joel Mullenix. When the Hortons pass, Mullenix will hold power for a few years and then?

I never heard anything about where/why Mutsch went. You know any of the details? I just knew he was gone. |

He hung around Pensacola for a while waiting to find work. He visited various IFB churches in the area, including Marcus Pointe to hear Tim Lee preach. I believe he went to work for ACE, the home school company. David Gibbs had an interest in it at the time, if I recall correctly, and they were working with Liberty U. to upgrade their curriculum. I think Gibbs even rented a room at the big hotel downtown to meet with A Beka workers who wanted to jump ship. It has been years... as in seven or eight... and my memory and interest fades. A quick look at teh Google reveals that Greg Mutsch is Executive Director of Accelerated Christian Education. |
