World's Best Fresh Lemonade
cut and squeeze 10-12 lemons into a gallon pitcher
Mash up 4 strawberries with a fork and strain into the lemon juice. Boil 3 cups of water on the stove. Add 1-2 cups of sugar (depending on how sweet you want it) to make a simple syrup. Add the syrup to the lemon and strawberry juice. Fill pitcher with water. As a nice touch you can slice one lemon and throw it in to the pitcher so it floats on top. Sip. Heaven. RE: World's Best Fresh Lemonade
Sounds amazing! The strawberries are a nice touch. Seems like it would be pretty strong (which I love!). I can't stand watered-down lemonade.
Growing up, we used to make extra-strong limeade, pour it over crushed ice, and sit on our front porch in our rocking chairs in the Florida heat sipping limeade slushies. Good memories. I love limeade and lemonade! |

Or...hit sonic at happy hour and order the lemon berry slush.

RE: World's Best Fresh Lemonade
Strawberry lemonade is fantastic! Raspberry is a very close second.
