Blues Traveler
Are awesome
I am wondering.. are there any Christian groups that have a similar sound? In my experience, Blues Traveler are pretty unique, but a lot of their songs are quite depressing when you actually listen to the lyrics (many of them are about friends lost to drugs and other things). Here is an example On of my faves, and here is one of their more recent songs. More modern sound (they added a keyboardist sometime in the early 00's, still awesome harmonica solos, but very similar. Haven't found one that compares to Blues Traveler. Love them though. Met John Popper and have seen them live. I just added the station to Pandora and listen to it ALL of the time. Their older stuff for me isnt as depressing.
