RE: Is it just me, or does this Fundy wife sound miserable?
Ok, just glanced at the blog...
First thought: from the family pic, I'm thinking, "wow! she looks like she's in her early to mid thirties and already has 5 kids!!!". Then I read she's only 26..... With 5 kids!!!! Then I see her describing her kids and she describes her 5 year old girl as having blonde hair, blue eyes and being ditzy. Really?? That's how you describe your kid?? Let the sexism begin. |

My husband squandered my savings, chronically cheated, and then abandoned me, and my fundy MIL is still making a million excuses for him. In her eyes, I'll always be the one who "ended" the marriage, although he actually broke his vows to me long, long ago. I just had to react and file the papers because he left me with no choice. It makes me sick. |

That reminds me of a friend of mine who's fundie PK husband did all kinds of irreparable damage to her marriage. When my friend confided in her MIL about all this, the MIL's conclusion was that my friend must not be submissive enough.

IL---good for you for getting out. So sorry you had to go through that. It wasn't you...it never was. It was ALWAYS them. And their disfunction that FORCED you out. You are the stronger, healthier one for leaving.
