I'm not saying it's not true if there's no hard science but I also know that science gets called upon to support all kinds of claims that nobody's actually ever proven.

The link below is a paper that talks about the biology of sexual orientation. I don't think it answers all the questions and it certainly won't change anyone's mind. It looks at homosexuality from a strictly biological standpoint. Make what you will of it.
