People like you are the reason I left Fundamentalism, and the reason I'll most likely leave Christianity entirely. After reading through all of your comments on this thread I'm convinced of 2 things:

1. You were most likely the eldest child. (That's just the psychologist part of me coming out - not even relevant)
2. You are extremely arrogant and will not consider that you could be wrong about something, or listen to other people's thoughts or feelings about this subject.

You have not shown any love or kindness to the people you consider to be living "abominably". To completely dismiss someone's personal story simply by saying that "the 'I don't remember choosing' argument is really nonsense." shows your arrogance. Do you really believe that people make life-altering decisions about their sexual orientation somewhere between conception and the age of 3?? That seems to be what your comment suggests. If so, I am very glad that you were so righteous by the age of 3 to pick the holy orientation.

You say:

"Personally, if they stayed in the closet it would suit me just fine."

Wow. I guess that's your solution to all other sins as well? No one should ever talk about their "struggles" or "flaws", let's all just pretend to be perfect? Or maybe you'd prefer a world run by a true "don't ask, don't tell" wherein no one was allowed to talk about the people most important in their lives?

At one point you justified your blatant prejudice by citing Paul and saying that he was prejudiced as well... Apparently, you believe Paul is the 4th part of the god-head who is incapable of sinning... You do know there is a possibility that Paul himself "struggled" with homosexuality...

Incidentally, you dismiss another person's comment because they started the paragraph with "I don't know" and you believe that to be an indication of personal opinion... yet you have openly stated that your belief system is severely altered by your own personal prejudice...

I would be much appreciative if you would show us the sin comparison chart that the Bible so clearly states. It would make all of our lives MUCH easier.

Please don't "yawn" at my comment - it would only prove my point further.

Thanks.

Actually...it's not worth the 'Yawn'. If you abandon Christianity, it's on YOU...blaming someone else is always the greatest sign of weak character. Lastly, YOUR whinning is further proof that that the only opinion 'allowed' is one of permissivness. The Psychologist part of me agrees with you that I am the eldest if not counting my deceased twin. "Love or kindness" to people I consider 'abomniable'? By "love and kindness" you mean "endorsement" and "permission"? No, sorry. If that is your bent, you are in rebellion against God...then again, the remainder of your post is chock full'o whinning about how badly everyone treats you because they don't fawn and dote over your life choices that are sinful and obscene in the sight of God.

Paul struggled with homosexuality? That agrument is suck a joke..because of Romans 7, you and people like you believe he was struggling with being gay? HA! Do anything and say anything to justify your insane sin that is built around anal sex...that's it, that's all its about. So, that's all I've to say to you. The box of Kleenex is on the white piano to dry your tears or just click your ruby slippers together.

Having a 'How 'bout them Cincinnati Reds?' day...and waiting for the other shoe drop...
