This sort of stuff disturbs me too. I refrained from answering, because I really didn't want to get involved in this sort of discussion, but sometimes I can't help myself. The idea of entropy is statistically derived from the kinetic theory of gases in a closed system. It is really annoying and frustrating to see the principles extrapolated and distorted to attack theories where they just don't apply. Extrapolating half-understood theories of the origin of the universe (which are still not complete, btw) combined with misapplied thermodynamic laws and using this to try to prove or disprove the existence of God is nonsense.

I have heard no satisfactory answer yet to the question as to why the universe is here. Maybe there is some sort of first-cause behind the universe, but I think that this is just pushing the question back a layer and doesn't explain why this first-cause exists. It is all vain speculation.
