I never went to a youth conference. My parents never wanted us out of their sight. I thought it was because they thought we'd get into trouble. Looking back, I suspect it was more that they were afraid we'd talk.

Sent our kids to Camp Co-BE-AC, but would never have sent them to the Hyles Conferences. I wish I had never sent any of them to COBEAC. Its not far off from Hyles-ish stuff. Of course, at the time, I thought we were the only ones who were right. I have a friend who is 100% Hyles, and he sent his daughters to these conferences every year. They both turned from God.
