Pleasantville (the movie)
Pretty good movie. Saw it for the first time tonight.

Striking similarities to fundyland... Wow.

RE: Pleasantville (the movie)
It was an interesting concept but the over all message that life is so much better in color and it takes doing something that breaks the rules of society and good manners in order to live life in color... that was the most disturbing message of the movie to me.
It was a very secular humanist message. Live for self and the pleasures of the day... hard to get away from that message, especially when it causes a tree to burst into flame. It was very Aldous Huxley-esque in the philosophy it portrayed.
