I also had a friend that was "one of David's girls". Cindy actually had a physical fight with her because she decided to talk. Bro. Hyles stopped her from talking by asking her to leave the Church.

Thanks for the welcome. I think I find this group overall respectful of each other's pain and that I find is different than being in a group with both fundies and ex-fundies. Though we are not perfect here I have found we have mutual respect and understanding and I have found thus far have lots of fun in the Inane Chat room. Big Grin

Welcome. Your story is truly amazing. Amazing in that through all the pain and abuse, you held onto God. Amazing in that God is giving you joy and peace in SBC raising your child. May you find the friendships here resounding with truth. I am fairly new, and have told snippets of my story, and may share it all some day when I feel safe.
