I am against the first one and for the second one.

Thinking Biblically about so-called Same Sex Marriage

I'm against both.
I fear that the first is an attempt to disenfranchise voters, especially the aged, the poor, and the minorities.

I believe the second is mean spirited. Same sex marriage is already against state law. Why is this needed? I believe it is a wedge issue. It is designed to work people up so they get all riled up over--so that they are convinced to vote against their own economic interests.

We have a legislature that wants to cut off funding to our small cities. Schools. Libraries. And this is somehow important? Not sure on that...

Plus, we're not a theocracy. If a couple that is gay wants to marry, what does that impact me and my marriage one bit? Been married to my wonderful wife for almost 25 years. No "same sex marriage" will impact us one way or the other...it's kind of a big non issue in my book. That's just my take

I took that position too, until my pastor preached that message. he changed my mind.
