You need to watch it then. We watched it with our kids a few weeks ago on Netflix, and they loved it. My 11 year old couldn't get enough of the flight scenes.

RE: Mark Herbster poses as US Marine Combat Veteran?
Mark Herbser won't answer emails. Imagine he's too busy ducking phone calls from irritated Marine active duty and vets.

Mark's brother, Matthew Herbster (Program Director of the Wilds) responded instead.

Matt first wrote:
"For the life of me I can’t figure out why this is such a big deal other than the fact that you want to find any way possible to blast anybody associated with Bob Jones or fundamentalism."

Email response to Matt from a US Marine active duty wife:

"He wore a uniform he didn't earn with medals he didn't earn. Combat medals that real Marines die getting. Hash Marks and Blood Stripes that real Marines spend years earning. That uniform is NOT a costume. That is why I am angry. There is no excuse or explanation in the world that can change that. This is not a BJU issue. This is a stolen valor issue. I am yet to hear from any service member who is "proud" of having Mark, or anyone else, wear a uniform and medals they didn't earn. It is a lie. It is dishonest. It is wrong. I will not apologize or back down from calling a spade a "spade." Stop making excuses."

Matt's response back, " Mark has been preaching in these uniforms for 10 years and this facbook page (truth seeking graduates) is the first negative response he has ever gotten."

Matt then goes on to complain,

"Mark has been called all kinds of names by people who supposedly claim to be Christians. His safety has been threatened [by Marine vets.] His loyalty to Christ has been questioned. Don't you think this is a little over the top? Wouldn't it have been much simpler for someone to have actually called Mark and calmly talked with him about it instead of rushing to conclusions of his intentions and motives? That would have been much more Biblical, but it wouldn't have made for as much fun on the facebook pages or blogs I suppose."

RE: Mark Herbster poses as US Marine Combat Veteran?
Matt is being dishonest with writing that no one contacted Mark. Both Mark and Matt were contacted privately. By numerous people. Including a IFB pastor who is a WWII Navy Vet. Matt told the IFB pastor that Mark didn't preach in the Uniform. Matt said that a real Marine vet "stood with Mark while he [Mark] gave his presentation. The old IFB pastor/Navy vet told Matt that explaination didn't fly. The IFB pastor/vet asked Matt why the Marine (? vet) didn't wear his own uniform dress blues that he earned? The vet told Matt, that Mark shouldn't have worn the Uniform if Mark weren't in the Marines. He should have called his local recruiter asking the Recruitment office to send over a Marine dressed in dress blues.

The old WWII vet/IFB pastor wasn't impressed with Matt's excuses.
