We don't know how much consideration on guilt or innocence Zimmerman gave Martin. It hasn't been established. So I said "allegedly."

Did you see the Casey Anthony trial? The State dropped the ball on that one. The Zimmerman trial is most likely going to come down to whether or not he initiated force.

I did closely study the Trayvon Martin case last semester for a research report for one of my classes, and from what I saw, it appeared that Zimmerman thought he was the neighborhood rent a cop or something. It will be interesting to see what comes out at the trial because anything I studied has me of the opinion that he should go to jail for murder, but we'll see if other evidence comes out in the trial.
