I just finished the book "Inside Scientology" by Janet Reitman--highly recommended! Has all the gory details.

Yeah, the Lisa McPherson case is as frightening as it is bizarre.

Evidently, the leader's wife has been missing, supposedly in a CoS "prison".

As of the time of the book's publication, the poor discarded Mrs M (I won't spell out his name, just in case! My first post here did!) was sent to the San Diego CofS office, a sort of 'outsourcing' and demotion. No more limos and steaks for her!

But if she is now "under discipline" --it means she has been sent to the Gold Base, and that is BAD.
