Behold, the 60 minute egg. A big mistake. But someone liked it...

I've done that before accidentally, only I didn't have any dogs to share with. Smile

done that. Mine exploded. sent bits of egg all over the place.

God has been faithful and loving me for over 18000 days. I think that He will be faithful and loving to me today.

I actually live in China, so I've had those. I HATE THEM. It's one of the few things I can't gag down or pretend to love for the host's sake. They call it "hundred-year egg" or "thousand–year egg" because your average man on the street preserves them for 100 days. (The ones made by companies or restaurants aren't necessarily exactly that long). They have quite a salty flavor, so they're popular to eat with tasteless porridges of different kinds.

See - growing up I always wanted to be a missionary. But I could never deal with living on another culture's food. I'm too much of a picky eater.

So was I! A terribly picky eater, plus I always hated Chinese food. But real Chinese food is nothing like the stuff offered in America under that name. Lots and lots of it is delicious. I found the same was true of Indian and Cambodian and Vietnamese food, too, though I initially thought them disgusting. If any of you SFL'ers ever take at trip to the Worker's Paradise, I'll show you where all the awesome food is. :-)
