Eric Holder/CONTEMPT!!
How about some good news?
The House of Representatives have voted to hold Eric Holder in contempt of Congress by a vote of 255-67. The good news is that Christ died for all of you........not just some of you! |

RE: Eric Holder/CONTEMPT!!
Well, Holder could be fined, jailed. He'll probably just be fined, though.
The last man jailed for contempt of Congress ended up in a hotel room. As far as how accountability works, here's the thing: Holder was held accountable today, already. The only thing left is the penalty against him. And whether, in the future, he will be more forthcoming regarding the gun-walking program that is materially related to the murder of one US government agent Brian Terry and scores of murders of civilians and government agents in Mexico. RE: Eric Holder/CONTEMPT!!
It's not about schadenfreude. I take no pleasure in Holder's demise at all. Moreover, I detest that any of this is necessary.

RE: Eric Holder/CONTEMPT!!
Schadenfreude is deriving pleasure from the misfortune of others. I take no pleasure in this ruling: I take pleasure in justice. Criminals need to be help accountable to the law, and those who endanger the lives of others need to be restrained and punished. That's all this is.
Behold, what manner of love is this, that Christ should be arraigned and we adorned; that the curse should be laid on His head and the crown set on ours. –Thomas Watson |
