RE: Becoming Sister Wives
I watched a marathon of episodes from the show when I was sitting bored in my hotel room one day. Not something I would want to do but I found it fascinating.

boymom: What in the thelogical region of eternal punishment is a daddy-daughter ball?

amyrose5:No one is in charge around here. Except maybe the rabbit. He thinks he is. But we do keep him in a cage, so that limits his real control.

Have yall ever heard of my favorite hippie cult, the Keristans? They broke up in 1991.

They believed in group marriage for men AND women. One marriage I recall had 36 people, men and women. They invented the word "polyfidelity".

Off the record, on the QT and very hush-hush

Interesting rules for behavior and principles, but as with so many religions and cults, why do they have to be all up in people's bedrooms?

I'd be kicked out in a heartbeat just for being flippant. Wink

RE: Becoming Sister Wives
Yeah, I considered joining them myself once. But I hated several of them, so that made it impossible.

This rule:

No service-oriented or performance-oriented sex

...started me arguing, since I think women often do this for men as a matter of course. I asked them how they could tell the difference?

Unspoken rule, just like the Mormons: no uppity/mouthy gals. Wink

And there it is ... I'd be in sooo much trouble before I ever got started. Tongue
