The FFF used to get crazy because of that. It would actually turn a user's "icon" from green to red if they got too many negative points. I've seen "good" users inundated with negative reps for something stupid they didn't agree with the Fundies on.

I got several just because I disagreed with someone on Calvinism. So did other people I know. Being a bully really isn't the way to convince someone to be a Calvinist lol.
