Flying
I know Scorpio and C-Fresh are pilots and get to ride up front, but the rest of us have to go to the back of the plane.

What's your favorite part about flying?

What's the absolute worst part of flying to you?

Favorite: Getting to the destination in about 1/2 the time
Worst: Flying with my kids and being crammed into a seat with a large person on one (or both) side(s) oozing into my space.

Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes. Oscar Wilde

RE: Flying
I love seeing the earth from a distance. It gives me a sense of grandeur. The think of how small I am and how big the world is and then that God made it all with a word.

Also, I love to think of the power and aerodynamic ingenuity it takes to lift a 300 ton piece of metal 5 miles up in the air.

RE: Flying
Favorite: Getting to go somewhere different. Whether it is business or vacation I will be seeing things and places I don't normally see.

Worst: Using the restroom in flight. Especially later into a long flight. Um, the floor is usually wet. And let's just say that from a guy's perspective, "aiming" is much harder when the plane is bouncing around.

Flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

RE: Flying
I like feeling the power of the engines on take-off. The speed is incredible. Smile

RE: Flying
I hate every single part of flying.

airports, airlines, baggage, security, re-booking, take-offs, landings, inflight movies....

I like it when the stewardess sometimes gives all the soldiers free alcohol on the flight. Wink

Flight attendants. They're call flight attendants now. Smile

We are kindred spirits! NOT a fan. I also dislike traveling with strangers.

I like the term 'flight attendant' better than 'stewardess'. Some of them are guys. If anything they should all be called 'stewards'.

I'm also not into the 'lets get the journey over with' kind of person. I like taking backways and sidestreets when I'm on the ground so the whole 'getting there in half the time' doesn't impress me much.

let me find my life in you.~St. Augustine
