I was able to see it through a large telescope and take a couple of photos it was very cool! When the clouds came back over we watched the live stream from NASA.
Some of the participants hummed The Police - "There's a little black spot on the sun today..." Some hummed Shocking Blue - "I'm your Venus" (Of course, some of the young coeds at the gathering insisted that the latter was only a razor blade commercial, and not an actual song from the 1970's.) |
