Because it's always been clear that saying we can't prove prevention of implantation doesn't happen doesn't mean the same thing as saying it does. :ahem: At least maybe this means we can finally get the confusing labels changed! And now pharmacists will quit refusing to give contraceptives to rape victims. Maybe...

RE: Morning-after pills don't block implantation
If it did prevent implantation, then we wouldn't have any failure rate associated with missing a BCP or two because it would ... prevent implantation! And EC would have a higher success rate. EC has a higher failure rate the longer after sex has occurred -- implantation does not occur until about seven days after fertilization. But the failure rate of EC climbs every DAY after unprotected sex.
But people who want to force women to be breeding machines refuse to see common sense. They don't want to see what is right in front of their eyes. I'd personally be more uncomfortable with using an IUD (for ME, PERSONALLY) than I'd ever be about the pill (which I have used and would use again if I needed to. |

When I saw EC, the first thing that came to mind was Elijah Craig which made some amusing reading. I assume EC is actually Emergency Contraceptives? I do at least know what an IUD is.

That's funny, though. That's the SFL context for you! PP, why no on the IUD for you? Is it a health or an ethical concern for you? I hadn't heard of potential ethical concerns over IUDs, so just wondering. |
