You're right. Just like casting pearls of wisdom in front of a pig.

You do know his children are both adults? Not minors? I question the sincerity of your concern when you know so little of the family and this situation. Opining is free, I guess.

Also, Hildy did post the address of Bob Jones IV in the thread where Hildy speculated about Bob Jones IV's sexuality, using, as his justification, that Hildy found out all the information on line from public information sources, so this protestation is just more tempest in a teapot. Also, Hildy has changed his page on his website slightly. On Tuesday, he said he was being accused of this he didn't do. When the screen shot pics went up on Facebook, that line disappeared from his website. People have screen shots. No matter his protestations, he needs to be extremely forth coming, lest he be proved a liar once again.

And, Naomi is correct. Hildy's children are past 18. One is in college and the other is in the military. It's not like he's a wife and mother of elementary age children whom he constantly derided and posted pictures of on his blog. If Hildy's mad at anyone, he should be mad at himself. Hildy's bullying tactics were finally undone. Not everybody plays by the same Fundyland dysfunctional rulebook. One would think Hildy would know that by now.

Finally, maybe people's attitudes and responses here should tell Hildy something about himself - how much people really don't care about his blog or his writing or his opinions. When Hildy first started writing, they were painfully real and funny posts about life in the BJU corner of Fundyland. Then, he got mean and I stopped caring, just like a lot of other people. I got tired of the schizophrenic posts wondering does he like BJU today or does he hate BJU today?

I don't condone what Daisy did on her blog. Not redacting the address was wrong from the get-go, but Hildy's life has proven one thing: When you trample over people to get what you want, people, at some point, start fighting back. I'd love to think this is the end of Hildy's nasty blog, but it isn't. So, yeah, tempest in a teapot - still works for me.

Ditto. Greg you are not the sacrificial lamb. If you can't back up your assertions with quotes or links then STFU. For someone who can quote the bible at length you sure are adverse to the copy and paste functions on your computer.

It's never to late to apologize. The appropriate time for an apology is the moment you realize you are wrong.

Damn! I thought that was the time to argue louder and more vociferously. No wonder I always end up on the couch.

Ok, I think everybody has had a chance to have their say on this particular issue. Lest this drag on and on forever I'm going to use my superpowers and call it quits on this particular discussion.
