Grace means that God does something for me; law means that I do something for God. God has certain holy demands which he places upon me: that is law. Now if law means that God requires something of me for their fulfillment, then deliverance means he no longer requires that from me, but himself provides it.

Those images aren't showing up. I think perhaps you posted the link wrong or didn't attach them right. Wink

Now, I've met some right-wing wackos, but you have to understand that this cousin is a complete left-wing wacko. She was going on an on about how awful the Republicans are, and how this was what all Republicans believed. I pointed out the possibility that, since she saw this on the campus of a liberal-leaning state university, that the person wearing the shirt might actually have been a liberal, trying to use a strawman to make people angry at conservatives, and if so, it was working. I have never met a conservative who believed anything so regugnant, (and I've known some who were way out there) but I've met plenty of liberals who made similar claims about conservatives.

She could not / would not understand what I was saying. Not. at. all. She just kept on ranting about how awful the Republicans were, and how this was what all Republicans believed.

What I have been learning over the years is that conservatives don't believe much of what the good folks on MSNBC say that they do. Liberals do not believe most of what Fox attibutes to them. The shrill on both sides have a vested interest in making the other side look as bad as they can. That is how politics works in this country apparently. It is unfortunate to deal with people who swallow the propaganda. I have Facebook friends from opposite ends of the political spectrum. I have blocked a lot of them from my news feed for this reason. They are posting wacky stuff that borders on conspiracy theories.
