I'm a big fan of Brit TV. A few favorites:
Father Ted A Bit of Fry and Laurie Blackadder Vicar of Dibley Thin Blue Line Doctor Who Torchwood Look Around You Are You Being Served Being Human Merlin Primeval Extras Fawlty Towers Pie in the Sky MI-5 Ok, I said a few...I have a bit of an addiction!

There's another Brit show that I just got into, called Sherlock... don't know if you'd like it, but it's written and created by a couple of the Doctor Who writers (Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss). It's really very good. MI-5 is next on my list to watch. Forgot to mention Sherlock. Modernizations don't always work out, but I thought this series was wonderful! Benedict Cumberbatch (is that not the most British name in the world?) is fantastic as Holmes, and Bilbo makes a great Dr. Watson.

I didn't even realize he'd be playing Bilbo until you mentioned it... and then I looked up The Hobbit on IMDB (I'm such a LotR nut... I should know these things) to be sure! LOL Nice Sherlock was absolutely wonderful! I can't wait til the second series comes out later this year.

Oh yes! Rosemary and Thyme! Great show with two great actresses.

Anyone like "Wire in the Blood"? I have just started season 1 on Netflix.
The first case being split into two halves with credits in between thru me off at first. I was going on to the next case before I realized I had to go back to get the conclusion of the first one. we are all a little looney |
