RE: The Most Vile?
Most vile? I don't understand the question. What does that even mean? What yardstick do you have, Greg? My yardstick of the Bible says that there is one standard for vileness: a sinful and fallen nature common to all humanity.
There is none righteous, no, not one. The Apostle Paul (not gay as far as we know) called himself "the chief of sinners." That means he considered HIMSELF to be the most vile of men not someone else be they gay or straight or Christian or agnostic or even Democrat. You need to seriously look inside your own heart, greg and ask yourself what it is that drives you to constantly harp on the sins of others instead of looking inside and being horrified at the sin that is in your own heart. Any righteousness that is based on the premise "but at least I don't..." is a false righteousness. You know who is the most vile? I am. You are. The cop on his beat. The prostitute on her corner. The soldier in his foxhole. The terrorist with murder in his heart. They are all vile. They are all fallen. They all need grace. Thankfully where sin did abound grace did much more abound. And God so loved each one of us that he sent his Son.
