RE: Lawns
I want a German Shepherd eventually. Now isn't a good time as I live in 3rd floor condo so it wouldn't have a yard to play in. Works fine for my cat so far.

Tell me about it! We have two living next door and when they start baying and barking, it sets off my two dogs! (And the greyhound across the street, and the yappy dogs who live next to him, and probably the two new dogs that live two doors down from us!)
It's called the barking chain....the dog's secret code of communication across the country. Tongue

She likes to chew on underwear of any sort, is on some sort of puppy crack that I haven't discovered yet, and can find blood-stuffed toys anywhere in your house or yard.

On second thought, I'd miss her too much.
Our boxer used to do that too. He ate my sister's underwear all the time because we saw them "digested" in the yard following a good rainstorm. Big Grin

Our chocolate lab/pitbull mix chews on anything paper and tears apart/eats her blankets (we get those cheap fleece throws). We know whose crap it is by the bits of blanket in it.

At least she isn't eating cell phones anymore...

RE: Lawns
The dog/underwear thing is just so gross. haha. Fortunately, I'm careful, and my brother's pit has only ruined two of my pairs. (He was more successful in other rooms of the house, though. :-P) Instead, he substitutes taking used Kleenexes out of the trash and tearing them up. Huzzah. Goofball dog.

Forget the fear/it's just a crutch/that tries to hold you back/and turn your dreams to dust.
