 I LOVED the use of "proof-texts." You can tell that the writer has been on the receiving end of some fabulously bad preaching in order to mangle Scripture so manipulatively and effectively! I LOVED having such exhortations directed at the MEN! "Do not look so sad. We shall meet soon again.” “Please, Aslan,” said Lucy, “what do you call soon?” “I call all times soon,” said Aslan. |
