President Obama's trip to Afghanistan on the Anniversary of Killing of OBL
President Obama made a surprise trip to Afghanistan today (May 1) which also happens to be the one year anniversary of the killing of Osama Bin Laden. What do you think?

He's trying to politicize it and use it for capital in the upcoming election and I find it despicable.

They released the details surrounding the killing and revealed that it was Seal Team 6 and then many of them died.

It was the continued policies of Bush i. e. waterboarding that allowed of this capture. Frankly, I give our military ALL of the credit. Obama was off playing golf when he was killed, big shock there.

I hope we can vote this train wreck outta the White House in November. God. This has been the LONGEST four years of my life.

Because NO other politician would EVER politicize something for their advantage.

I didn't see anything like this out of Bush and I would take him back in the WH in a heartbeat.

Bush has more class in his baby finger that Obama does in his whole Muslim body.

Mission Accomplished? I am speaking of Bush's appearance on the Aircraft Carrier. I am not an apologist for Obama. Just pointing out that they all do it.

RE: President Obama's trip to Afghanistan on the Anniversary of Killing of OBL
I can imagine the security people in Afghanistan were dreading the 1 year anniversary of OBL being killed, expecting retaliation from all sorts of terror groups. THEN add POTUS coming in for a surprise visit on said date, and I bet the Exchange ran out of Rolaids really fast. I still can't decide if the President's move was gutsy move or foolishly exposing himself. I am sure it will be used for political gain. Just because everyone does it (Mission Accomplished) doesn't make it right.

RE: President Obama's trip to Afghanistan on the Anniversary of Killing of OBL
Obama criticized Bush military policy, then went on to work Bush's plan on Bush's timetable. Now that his military action is Obama's sole success that hasn't rusted around the gilded edges, he's doing a two-week end zone dance.

I'm not voting for Obama, but getting UBL was really a great accomplishment. Let him have this one.

Welp, he was the POTUS when the plans and execution of the raid that took out someone we'd been hunting for 10 years went down. Had it been Bush, you'd be all for it.

Um, if you're talking about the ST6 members on the Black Hawk that was shot down last summer, none of those seals were a part of the bin Laden raid. So there's no conspiracy connection there, despite what Alex Jones thinks.

Actually, it was clearly determined that none of the information used in the planning or execution of the raid was gather or extracted via any torture methods...wait, I mean, enhanced interrogation methods. And no, he was not playing golf when the raid happened. When the mission began he returned to White House for the duration of the raid. Yes, he was playing golf prior to that. So what. Bush played a lot of golf, too. Don't you find a way to calm and focus before major events in your life?

Interesting sentiment. What exact policies or actions would you point to that would justify referring to the president as a "train wreck"?
