Chuck, I am not African American, per se, but I did write a piece about my grandmother some time ago, who was Melungeon:

I think that confused come people and they didn't know what to think about me, which I think is funny.

I am white but I have done lots of shows about African American issues; had guests, candidates, etc etc. My credentials as an anti-racist are intact, luckily. They picked on the wrong person, he probably should have checked me out carefully first. People who go to the Malcolm X Center social Meet and Greet (and post photos on Facebook), are probably not the people you should target for racism if you want to be taken seriously.

Obviously, he was grasping at straws and whatever he thought he could make sound bad... it just doesn't work on ME. He picked the wrong person, as I said. But its interesting that "racist!" is the last insult they think works on a leftist or nonChristian. (Is that the only thing we all agree on? No wonder we're in trouble!)

I think crying "Racist" when it has nothing to do with the question at hand is the new "Red"/"Communist"/"Pinko".

I find it almost ironic that 'racist' is most often the first accusation thrown at someone on the right. Really, I think people need to just calm the heck down (speaking in general, not just to this thread/issue). Why can't we all just get along? I get frustrated with people who cry "racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe" all the time. I'm under no illusion that [X]ists don't exist but I don't think they're as common as some people seem to believe either.

I've just been blocked from Facebook for 24 hrs. Gee, and I thought I was the victim.

This is due to me writing "men should not threaten women with 'we gonna find you'" -- that is consider an offensive thing to say these days, apparently. The guy who reported me as offensive is a BJU employee but he has deleted his comments from the thread we were in, and I can't remember his name. Steve something.

This is just plain harassment. I am making a list for the next radio show.

Are you flipping kidding me? FB needs to reassess its policy. HOW long did they let that page sit up there, and then they ban YOU for defending yourself in NONoffensive terms?

Yes! Always screenshots when dealing with these sneaks. It's pretty rare when they "out" themselves and reveal the true nature of their beliefs so you better know they'll get scared that big brother will get them so they erase the comments.
