I've had the pleasure of hearing Bob Kauflin play before a fairly small audience. I found his music to be over-the-top emotional (it appeared to me to be clearly fake). Others claimed to be "blessed" but I was creeped out. I guess I should be more charitable but on the other hand I'm not big for performance art masquerading as worship.
There are a couple songs my previous church would have for congregational singing which are OK, I guess, but it is really, really not my preference. I find Getty hymns to be a lot better. |
