NFL Draft
1st round of the NFL draft is tomorrow night. Anyone else going to be glued to their TV watching it? Or am I the only football junkie on SFL?

I love football, but the Draft feels anticlimatic after all the talk about it.

RE: NFL Draft
I'm not a big football fan. I'm curious who the Bears are gonna get, but I'll probably just check online, rather than watch the actual draft. I liked it more when it started at like 11 on Saturdays instead of the new drag it out over 3 days nonsense.

Do not giv tehm r00t on my servr,
cuz tehy sez tehy pwn me already ffs,

I remember the days when the draft started at 9am on Tuesdays. For some reason I always happened to get "sick" that day and had to miss work.

I am a big football fan, but I'll probably just read about it or watch Sportscenter to hear the recap.

Forgive me for asking, but how did you get information if this was before the interwebz?

This was back in the mid 1980s and the draft was being televised by ESPN.

He's the new starting CB for the Bills. Big Grin You can never have too many CBs so I think I am OK with the pick. But it was kinda anti-climatic. All those trades and well known names being picked and then we get Gilmore. Definitely not a sexy pick. I was hoping we would get the LB from Boston College, Kuechly, but Carolina took him with the pick before us.
