Sorry everyone but when my DW is watching Steel Magnolias I go hide in the hockey room and find a game. Tongue

Casablanca
Dr. Strangelove
O Brother Where Art Thou?
Blazing Saddles
Airplane!
The Old Star Wars trilogy
Yellow Submarine
Patton

My wife loves The Princess Bride (don't most all kids who grew up fundy?)

Yes, yes! How did I forget to include Dr. Strangelove?

How do you make your stars purple? I'd never seen that before this evening, and now you're the second or third person with purple stars in this thread.

Airplane! Big Grin

Flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

I see all these people saying Steel Magnolias, but I have never seen it. It probably came out during the time I was fundy and had vowed to never set foot in a movie theater again. Stupid vow. Almost had to sacrifice my young daughter on an altar.

RE: Movies you will watch again and again and again...
The Princess Bride
Casablanca
The Mark of Zorro (1929 with Tyrone Power)
What's Up, Doc? (Just watch this for the car chase if nothing else)
A Night at the Opera
Raiders of the Lost Ark

Those are probably our top ones, though we haven't watched any of them for a while. Too busy catching up with what we've been missing at the theater or watching old (and new) TV shows. Like Sherlock.

A steady diet of Hellfire and brimstone will only give you Spiritual gas and indigestion... from Mark Moore as posted on Facebook
