I might also add, just because something is legalized doesn't mean it won't be abused. Take prescription drugs for instance.

It was the negative attitude toward both prostitutes and women that i originslly took him to task for...

Yes but just because something is abused doesn't mean it should be criminalized. It's well documented that when the sex-work industry is legalized and regulated The abuse falls dramatically. People are checked for diseases, condoms are mandatory, the work is taxed, pimps are no longer needed, etc.. Obviously nothing is foolproof, unfortunately.
