There seems to be a whole spectrum of prostitution which until this past year I never had any exposure to. I have never been a client but have been solicitied several times in different ways. There are street prostitutes who are very obviously what they are and will do anything for anyone for a low price. There are girls who will only sleep with guys they think are decent and clean and attractive, but do it for money. There are girls who will only do it with one or two guys, but for money (the boundary between this and a real relationship gets very fuzzy).

I've either lived in suburbs or stayed out of bars for most of my life and never really encountered any of this until the last year. I've seen it all now. A couple of these girls are in my outer circle of friends. They work a low income jobs, maybe retail or as a waitress, and want drug money so they develop a network of clients, maybe a dozen or two of men who they have vetted some what and who don't disgust them.

I'm sure it happens in towns of all sizes. Morgantown is more than large enough to have it, and you have a lot of college students (some of whom are poor) in proximity to a pocket of upper middle class men. It's probably going on everywhere.
