RE: HAC Student Handbook
A little digging turned up the 2007 version. All I can say is, Jeez, I thought PCC was bad.

RE: HAC Student Handbook
i haven't gotten too far, but where it talks about working off-campus, it only says that men can find work. are women not allowed to work off-campus? wtf?

RE: HAC Student Handbook
more observations:

only women can take the class on teaching music to elementary students? why can't men teach kids music?

from the course description for Woman the Encourager: "The secret to life is to leave your world and to enter someone else's and make their life better." soooo... ladies, you exist to make other people happy. actually, most of the homemaking courses reflect that general idea. that is really really sad, that so many women are being taught, and believe, that their only purpose and value in life is in how they relate to and serve a man. that they are always secondary. like an afterthought.

Lol well it looks like she is completely ignoring my request. I guess she knows what I'm really up to already. Rolleyes

That's just the catalogue. I had one of those too. They save the dirty details for the handbook you have to sign off on. Dodgy

It's different now. If a female has a car, she can work wherever she wants (with some kind of limitation, I'm sure). When I was there, there was only one place that was approved for females to work off-campus. Amerihell, I mean, Americal. I never hated soulwinning till I had to work as a telemarketer. There are just so many similarities that when I started to hate my job, I also started to hate my ministry. To this day, I retain an unnatural fear of rejection. It took me forever to find a job because I was scared of filling out applications. Completely ridiculous, I know; gawd, I hate that place and what it did to me.

Women had to work at a telemarketing place. I spent 3.5 years at Americall. Ick. I used to get a pit in my stomach when the bus came within sight of the building.

Lol my sister used to tell me how often she laughed when folks would cuss her out over the phone while at Americall. Rolleyes

I have yet to hear from ANYONE who had anything good to say about working there. It angered me when I learned that she had only 2 work options, on-campus crap and Americall. Dodgy

Were the on-campus jobs below minimum wage? I remember someone mentioning that they were at at least one FU, but I forget which one.

It might've been possible. I know for sure she was making peanuts there. When I was at OBC, they paid EVERYONE under the table. IOW, they put each employee down as "clergy" so no taxes were withheld. That IMO is much worse.
