Dr. Oz--Love or loathe him?
Whatcha think of Dr. Oz?

Loathe him. He has good information, but he seems so smug to me.

Agreed! My doctors need a lot more humility, self-deprecating humor, and understanding.
Not sure if I am a fan of anyone in the "Oprah has deemed you are great and should have your own show" club. Not her, not Dr. Phil, not Dr. Oz. But then I mostly listen to public radio or music during the day...

It's hilarious you asked right now. This morning some creepy advertisement for Dr. Oz popped up between pages. I literally went, "Ah, creepy!" and closed it quick as I could. He was smiling so painfully large it looked like it was caused by electroshock.

I've read a few articles that are fine but wouldn't watch him on tv.

Is there an option for "totally ignore him and barely know who he is"?

My brother loves him and is always quoting him.

I think he scares people unnecessarily.

you, the mirror of my life renewed,
let me find my life in you.~St. Augustine

If you didn't work for a living you might know who he is. Cool

I could post this exact post only substitute "father" in place of "brother".

My mom prefers that annoying "The Doctors" show and is constantly telling me about it.

He's ok if you use uour own brain to evaluate what he says, but my grandmother watches him religiously and every other day it's "You shouldn't do this or eat that or that thing is going to kill you."
