RE: friday nights
Friends Kid's birthday party. Home to make cupcakes for grandmothers 80th birthday tomorrow. Baby was out of sorts. Middle daughter was in her own world. Oldest was glued to Minecraft. Husband is at work. I'm in bed.

RE: friday nights
Pizza for dinner, then meds and bed. It's stormy outside, so it makes it nice to be warm and dry inside. Hubby is feeling sick so he's "perfecting" his hot toddy recipe.

Pizza. Fringe. 45 pages of European Dictatorships 1918-1945. Almost ready for bed.

Husband works at 6 a.m. tomorrow and I must go caucusing at 9 a.m. because they don't want to lose people to the televised college football scrimmage. I'm expecting it to be an extremely tiny group.

RE: friday nights
My friends (a couple) buy everyone dinner (pizza) every friday night, and then we play cards. I've lost $70 in the last 3 weeks, so I think I need to lay off the poker for a while. I used to be better... I don't know what happened. so sad. But I still love Friday nights with my friends.

RE: friday nights
2-year-old been waking up three or four times every night this week with nightmares. 6-month-old waking up to eat and wanting to be held all night because she's teething. My Friday night was helping hubby put the kids to bed and then falling into bed ourselves to get snatches of sleep before one kid or the other decides to scream.

Everyone tells me that we're in a "special season" that will pass soon. It'd better.

(I LOOOOOOOVE my kids, but I'm just so. tired.)

RE: friday nights
Kids were supposed to go to Grandma's overnight, but they had low fevers, and she's immunocompromised, so they didn't go. DW brought home steaks, which we broiled at home. 13 yos wants to be an ATC. I was on the web, looking up frequencies and programming them into my scanner. DW was getting stuff ready for the craft fair today. Time with DW after kids went to bed.
