Onions in the frying pan.
Magnolia trees when they bloom. The sanctuary after Deacon Bill has practically fumigated the place with incense. The area immediately surrounding any funnel cake stand. New car smell. New high end electronics when they are plugged in for the first time. The lake, when boating. Combined with sun-tan lotion. Beer. Pizza. Beer and pizza together (two smells absolutely made for each other) I used to love the smell of Aussie Shampoo about 20 years ago. Then they changed the scent, and, unrelated, all my hair fell out. The Ark was built by a lone amateur, and the Titanic was built by an impressive group of professionals. |

RE: Favorite Olfactory Sensations
At the risk of sounding like a real wuus, I have to admit lavender is nice. I buy Mrs. Meyer's Lavender Laundry Soap and it's awesome.
Other smells I love: Fall in the northern states, outside. Most yankee candles. Fresh baked chocolate cookies Clean sheets hung on the clothes line (04-11-2012 04:47 PM)Presbygirl Wrote: My sense of smell is acute.
