RE: Favorite Olfactory Sensations
My new favorite smell is Bath and Body Works' scent "Country Chic".

"Funny, you're the broken one, but I'm the only one who needed saving."

A bottle of mixed peppercorns. Every time I fill the pepper mill I take a big whiff out of the bottle!

RE: Favorite Olfactory Sensations
I think Dickens said it best in one of my most beloved quotes from A Christmas Carol: "He was conscious of a thousand odours floating in the air, each one connected with a thousand thoughts, and hopes, and joys, and cares long, long, forgotten."

One that sticks out for me is the smell of my dormitory at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College. The first and only time since I've been in it since the closing, I was hit by the smell as I entered the front doors and lobby and was immediately transported back in time to when I was a student there. I don't think I'll ever be in that building again and that breaks my heart. Oh, how I would love to smell those memories once again!

RE: Favorite Olfactory Sensations
Probably my all-time favorite smell is that of the interior of a new car. Others would be this vine thing in my backyard that flowers a few weeks every year. I forgot what it's called but it has an awesome aroma about it. The scent left after a nice, long rain is a good one, too.

The fact that the Sun is maize and the sky is blue is neither in our control, nor is something we fraudulently contrived. It just shows that God has excellent taste in colors.

A Camel nonfiltered when it is first lit using a zippo lighter. Nostalgic, probably.

Or just the smell of the lighter. Blush
