Recipies for Hard Boiled Eggs??
That Pagan rabbit has brainwashed my kids into thinking we need to dye hard-boiled eggs. Thus, we always have lots of hard-boiled eggs that need to be used up, but I have no ideas beyond Deviled Eggs and Egg Salad. Any other recipes orideas to use them up?

I just generally peel mine and eat them whole. I'm unimaginative like that Smile

Reading the title Laura, I was gonna say what I do is boil water and then drop them in. Don't let em crack though. Take em off after like ten minutes and let them cool.

But I'm a guy.

You could make EGG SALAD sandwiches!! Super easy! Take those unused eggs, mash them up, add mayo or miracle whip, salt, pepper, and a shot of mustard. Put it on white or wheat. It's awesome!!

This is hilarious! I actually googled a recipe for hard boiled eggs this afternoon because it's been so long since I made them that I couldn't remember how long to leave them in for, lol.

The recipe I found had a nice herb and salt mix to go with the egg when it was cooked.

Found this page, but most of the recipes look a bit bizarre. Like the idea of the english-muffin pizzas though Smile

And here you've got some hard-boiled egg oatmeal cookies.

This page recommends you add a layer of boiled eggs to the center of a meat loaf recipe you're making.

On that note, I saw a picture of an amigurami Meat Loaf doll tonight. Meat Loaf the man, not the food.

The above recipe is for the food though.

Sorry. It's after 11pm and it's hard to keep my thoughts on track.

Ahem. This page has apparently got 30 hard boiled egg recipes, but it looks like they're pretty much suggesting that you add eggs to whatever it is you're making. Lol.

I always get out my mom's Joy of Cooking to look up the recipe. Every. Single. Time.

RE: Recipies for Hard Boiled Eggs??
Scotch eggs
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
salt and pepper to taste
6 hard-cooked eggs
1 egg, lightly beaten
3/4 c. crushed cornflakes

Divide the sausage into 6 portions; flatten and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Shape each portion around a peeled hard-cooked egg. Roll in beaten egg, then in cornflake crumbs. Place on a rack in a baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 400* for 30 min. or until meat is no longer pink, turning every 10 min.

I like mixing hard boiled eggs with tuna fish. They also go really well with smoked salmon, capers, red onion, cream cheese and crackers or a bagel.
