There is a reason why the anti-bullying campaign has strong messages about gays.

Because gay kids, (or kids perceived to be gay,) are the major recipients of bullying.

Oh, and by the way, when you look at most of the shootings in schools, it is not the inner-city marginalized kids the ones lashing out.

It is kids who were bullied unmercifully and labelled as gay.

Is it OK to bully the kid with the thick glasses? Of course not! it is not his fault that God made him that way.

Same with Gay kids.

We do not want to promote Homosexuality in schools any more than we want to promote heterosexuality in schools.

But this is not about what you DO. Instead it is about who you ARE.

There is a reason why teenage gays are the largest segment of teenage suicides. Who would want to live in a hostile world? Most of these kids would do anything in order NOT to be gay. It is not a matter of choice.

Meanwhile, our Focus on Families folks continue to treat homosexuality as it is something our kids can be infected with if exposed long enough to.
