The Book of Mormon
I'm listening to the soundtrack now. (A combination of work research, personal research, and religion research.)

I'm a musicals fans, so I love it so far, but it's freaking creepy how triggering this soundtrack is. Particularly considering how much time I spent as a fundy insisting we're not like any other religion out there. "Hello" brings back memories of soulwinning. "Two by Two" could have been straight out of any prayer I made about the mission field, either for myself or for my friends.

Otherwise, this musical seems brilliant. It's very witty and clever. I'm not sure how relatable this musical is if you've never been around a similar religious group, but it's very relatable for me.

Should've picked it up at HMV...it's probably sold by now Sad

We all have our own inner angry natives and our minds invent a million ways to avoid confronting them directly. But if you just look them in the eye and ask them why they're chasing you with spears you just might learn something about yourself.
