Quick advice
I'm listed on care.com and sittercity.com.

I have a woman asking to see my resume.

I'm not sure I feel comfortable sending my resume with personal information to someone I don't know. Business are different. I have no idea who this person is.

What should I do?

RE: Quick advice
Blackout your real personal info (address, phone numbers etc.) and explain that you are being safe until you know she is legit. She should understand. If not, move on.

Flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

RE: Quick advice
I'd agree with Scorps and add that perhaps you could ask for an in-person interview at the company site just to be safe. If this person is a REAL hiring manager they shouldn't mind at all. Good luck!

It never hurts to have a sanitized copy that can be more widely distributed.

RE: Quick advice
I sent it to her with all my personal info removed.

I'm glad she didn't want to meet. She was stupid.

After I sent it she emailed back and said, "Oh, I'm looking for someone with at least 3 years experience as a nanny."

Why the hell didn't she say that BEFORE I sent my stuff????

RE: Quick advice
She might've been a scammer looking for identity info.

RE: Quick advice
This is why I didn't want to send her anything.
